  • Boating – access to launch ramp at our Marina on Nicola Lake
  • Fishing – Nicola Lake has 26 species of Fish – most of any lake in B.C.
  • Golfing – Quilchena on the Lake Golf Course (next door)
  • Hayrides (minimum 20 people) – please contact Hotel in advance
  • Hiking – explore the surrounding countryside
  • Horseback Riding – excursions available on ranch trained horses
  • Mountain Biking (rentals available)
  • Picnics – with a multitude of tranquil destinations, you may order a picnic lunch from the hotel kitchen and make a day of it
  • Ranch Tours – learn about Quilchena Cattle Company on a ranch tour, minimum 20 people – contact the hotel in advance of your stay to arrange a tour
  • Sailing – The Kamloops Sailing club – site used for the 1993 Canada Summer Games
  • Shopping – some of the best shopping in the Nicola Valley found at the General Store (est. 1912)
  • Swimming – in Nicola Lake, Nkwala beach ($5.00 day use) or Monck Provincial Park across the lake
  • Tennis- next to the hotel, on the saloon side of the building (next to the patio)
  • Walking – miles & miles of country roads
  • Windsurfing – expect a thrill on the 14 miles (22 km) of Nicola Lake which boasts winds second only to the Columbia River Gorge
