The Nicola Valley is an easy 3 hour drive from Greater Vancouver. Take the Coquihalla Highway 5 from Hope to Merritt. There take exit 290 and proceed 20km (12 miles) north or 15 minutes along Highway 5A 

.This alternative scenic route to Kamloops is a welcome diversion from the Coquihalla Highway, winding its way past pristine lakes and rolling hills. Quilchena is 45 minutes south of Kamloops.
